The fortieth edition of the Rome Fashion Week, better known as ALTAROMA, was held during the 2nd and 5th of February at the Cinecittà Studios.
The curtains have come down on yet another successful edition of ALTAROMA held at the awe inspiring Cinecittà Studios.
Altaroma defends and consolidates its role as a point of reference for independent brands and emerging designers among Italian events, and it positions itself internationally as the fashion week of new, innovative, sustainable and high-quality Italian fashion.
In the words of Silvia Venturini Fendi — “Altaroma is an institution, a family, a travel companion to grow, overcome difficulties and achieve success. It is a role which we have helped to develop and which we have tenaciously defended, especially in recent years.”
More than 70% of the more than 80 brands produced by Altaroma — of which 79 in the Showcase project — boast sustainable production. Moreover, about 80% of them are companies, start-ups and projects founded or led by women.
We decided to share our favorite looks from the runway of this season. Out of more than 100 looks we’ve selected 8 looks that have impressed us, either through the design, craftsmanship or the refreshing feeling that they conveyed.
